Ho’oponopono

Ho’oponopono

There is a Hawaiian psychotherapist who cured an entire ward of criminally insane patients, without ever meeting any of them or spending any time with them.

Sound crazy? It really happened! The therapist was Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and instead of the typical process of reviewing each patients’ files, and then meeting with them in person, Dr Len focused on healing them by healing himself.

Sound like a miracle? It was, but one performed with conscious effort using the right tools. Dr Len used Ho’oponopono, what he calls Self IDentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH).

I have been practicing this therapy in all spheres of my life and always found my self confident to face any situation calmly and  confidently and always found the result in my favour for my highest and best.

I am sure you are also expecting miracle to happen in some part of your life as i wanted to experience in relationship, finances, health and trust me it was a magical shift in me after chanting what Dr. Len chanted for self and it healed the difficult insane patients.

You might be thinking; how can this possibly work?

What does healing yourself have to do with healing anyone?

More than thirty years ago, in Hawaii, at the Hawaii State Hospital, there was a special ward, a clinic for the mentally ill criminals. People who had committed extremely serious crimes were assignated there either because they had a very deep mental disorder or because they needed to be checked to see if they were sane enough to stand trial. The people working there were very frightened.  Dr. Len wouldn’t do anything except just coming in and being always cheerful and smiling, in a very natural, relaxed way. He never tried to see them personally, though. Apparently he just sat in an office, looked at their files, and to members of the staff who showed an interest he would tell them about a weird thing called Ho’oponopono. In the end, the athmosphere changed so much that the staff was not on sick leave any more. Actually, more people than needed wished now to work there. Prisoners started gradually to be released. Dr. Hew Len worked there close to four years.

Today, Ho’oponopono may be used as a complementary therapy by both practitioners and patients. The beautiful and magical part about Ho’oponopono is  you can do this process yourself, without anyone to help you. All you have to do is “say” the words in your head. The power is in the feeling .

Whenever you are having difficult thoughts that are non-productive and stressing you out, it is time to take control of your thoughts and focus on happier thoughts. The practice of Ho’oponopono will do just  that you can do it in just four easy steps.

❄️ Repentance – JUST SAY: I’M SORRY:

The first step is to realize that you are responsible for everything in your mind.  Once you accept that, it’s very natural to feel sorry.   A great exercise is to choose something that you already know you’ve caused for yourself? Over-weight? Addicted to nicotine, alcohol or some other substance? Do you have anger or self esteem issues? Health problems? Start there and say you’re sorry. Just say I’M SORRY. That’s it! It is even more powerful to say it more clearly: “I realize that I am responsible for this (issue) in my life and I feel remorse that my consciousness has allowed this.”

❄️ Ask Forgiveness – SAY: PLEASE FORGIVE ME

Don’t worry about who you’re asking. Just ask! PLEASE FORGIVE ME. Say it over and over. Mean it.

❄️ Gratitude – SAY: THANK YOU

Say “THANK YOU” – again it doesn’t really matter who or what you’re thanking. Thank your body for all it does for you. Thank yourself for being the best you can be. Thank God. Thank the Universe. Thank whatever it was that just forgave you. Just keep saying THANK YOU.

❄️ Love – SAY: I LOVE YOU

This can also be step 1. Say I LOVE YOU. Say it to your body, say it to God, say it to the universe. Say I LOVE YOU to the air you breathe, to the house that shelters you. Say I LOVE YOU to your challenges. Say it over and over. Just say I LOVE YOU and mean it. There is nothing as powerful as Love.
